The last post wet some appetite for decadent living quarters in the sky. All could be made available to a much broader range of people with sufficient advances in flying house technology by the middle of the 21st century. At the risk of appearing to swerve the site towards envious luxury fetishism, lets look at some more interiors and exteriors, current and futuristic. Don't forget that a real flying house will have larger and more dynamic windows.
Check out that entertainment room in the 13th photo! It looks so beautiful! A widescreen TV, magazines, a soft and elegant sofa, along with all those wooden shelves. Isn’t it just perfect!

ReplyDeleteLighter than air aerostat, a continuous flight solar plane, or a sea-plane house that can survive heavy seas and sometimes flies.
A hydrogen aerostat would be my approach. Hydrogen can be produced from sea water with electricity.
It has the added benefit of being possible right now. It would be interesting to drop anchors in international waters, too. Though that's a whole other bridge to cross.
